Thea Marshall has designed and developed educational programs, exhibits, products, and presentations for the Smithsonian, FAO Schwarz, Neiman Marcus, Harvard, the National Science Foundation, SONY, Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry, and many other organizations.
A certified Toastmaster and award-winning artist, she has generated publicity in diverse media, including Denver Magazine, the Frederick News-Post, the Seattle Times, and WBAL TV in Baltimore. More recently, in her new home on Oahu, she’s appeared on ThinkTech Hawaii and ‘Olelo TV.
Thea has served on boards of directors for community-based organizations in Chicago, Seattle, and Honolulu.
She grew up in the mountains near Camp David, Maryland, has lived in Massachusetts, Vermont, Florida, Oregon, Illinois, Texas, and Washington, and now works in Hawaii.
Later this year, Thea will publish Healers and Heroes, featuring a frontline account by her father, Capt. Robert T. Marshall, a Medical Administrative Corpsman with the 26th Infantry Division (the “Yankee Division”), who was awarded a Silver Star for his service at the Battle of the Bulge.
Thea currently serves as the Public Relations Officer for the Battle of the Bulge Association, whose 68 international chapters honor the veterans, and perpetuate the legacy, of this pivotal global event.
